The centre offers a large variety of activities from being able to meet your spouse
in our homely lounge before collecting the children from after school club to participate
in some form of fitness maybe in Wales first ever Kids Gym for 6 year olds and over
where parents are able to workout with their children and have fun the same time
and then being able to relax/socialise in the licensed lounge having a singsong together
on karaoke before going home with a homemade meal or enjoying the family meal together
at the centre totally de-
It may even be that mam wants to learn Salsa when Dad watches Rugby in the lounge with a beer and the children are enjoying their own thing in their Gym with qualified instructors or in our childcare centre with qualified experienced staff. There is something for all the family to enjoy and afford at least once a week together.
The centre also has its own Kickboxing Dojo and offers classes and coaching by local experienced Kickboxing champ. The DOJO will include a 14 ft boxing ring a variety of punch bags and speed balls and a mirrored corner for shadow boxing and skipping. This will also be available for local clubs and associations to use for competition personal training if needed with their coach.
The Kids Gym consists of eight pieces of equipment 4 being cardiovascular. All machines are alarmed so that if the child is not sat correctly and their posture isn’t right the alarm will sound and the instructor will attend. The gym also has lots of fun team games to play along with a kickboxing corner with their own specialized bags which can also be used with their parents with kids gloves and sparing pads, skipping ropes, pilates balls and various other to increase their core stability.
There is also a brand new state of the art gym which consists of 2 x bikes (the first ones in Wales) which are at present used by the forces as one of their main resistant/cardio fitness machines. We also have an integra range which along with the x bikes are adapted for disabled adults & children to gain upper body strength as well as having fun and being part of the community. The Gym also hosts 2 pieces of POWERSPORTS EVO2 range for 8 and over again families are once again able to spend quality time together. The centre has 42” screens around the centre for local business to advertise themselves for a small fee as this hopefully will help small local business’s to grow without paying a fortune for it.
Phase 1 of the centre is now complete and phase 2 will start early next year. Hopefully local people will all visit the centre and meet the team and will be inspired and driven into helping the team fulfil their dreams of making a change in our children’s future and having fun and making precious memories on the way.
